It is early evening. Boy and Me are laying on the couch together, watching Spanish television (don't ask). Boy's body stiffens as something seems to startle him.
Boy: "Did you hear that?"
Me: "Hear what?"
Boy: lifts head, cocks it to the side "I heard something. You didn't?"
Me: starts to sit up "I didn't hear anything. What was it?"
Boy: "I don't know." pauses "Wait, I heard it again. Listen."
Me: listens intently...
Boy: farts explosively, shaking the couch.
Boy and Me: laugh hysterically.
