Desert weather.

It's about a million degrees outside. And it has been for weeks, it seems.

Yesterday the high was 103, today it's predicted to be 104. And the humidity is hovering around 8%. So it feels like a desert out here. I can't get rid of this stupid headache, no matter how much water I drink. I love summer, but good god! This has got to stop! (Oh, and I'm tan for the first time in my life. I'm in competition with Leonard, but something tells me he will win. He comes back next week... yay!)

But the trusty meteorologists say that we will have a break this weekend. The temp will drop to around 97. Ha!

I just watched The Day After Tomorrow, and although it was a pretty cheesy movie, it got me thinking. Record breaking temperatures... climate changes, el nino, etc. Read National Geographic yesterday too. Atlantic temperatures are in a warming trend (because of el nino they say) and thus causing more hurricanes along the gulf. Who knows.
