Some other updates: I got a job! Teaching 4th grade, much closer to home. My friend Kyle (who I taught with for 4 years) is at that school, and I'll actually have his class from this year. It's funny, I applied to 4 schools and got 4 interviews. I was offered the position 2 hours after getting home from my first interview, but I had to hold off accepting until the next morning because I had a 7:30 AM that I couldn't cancel. I sat through that interview and immediately called to accept. Then I had to cancel 2 other interviews -- it's nice to be popular for a change!

I also won the "Mile High Teacher" award for my school so I get to go to a ceremony in April where I get a plaque and shake the mayor's hand. My teacher friends thought it was too bad I didn't know early enough to add it to my resume, but hey, I got a job without the recognition so there. :)

I'm on SPRING BREAK!!!!!

And sadly, I am now a "thirty-something"...
